HOP BINE PULLER OPERATOR WANTED
A family business growing high quality hops located near the Tapawera township in the Tasman region , are looking for a Hop Bine Puller operator to join their Team for Harvest 2021.
This role will be starting February 2021 and finishing end of March 2021, this is a fixed term role to help them cover this additional workload for a set period.
What sort of things will you be doing?
Harvest Hop bines using A modern hop harvest equipment (Fendt Vario 209P with Wolf AN70 Bine Puller and Soller turning axle trailer)
Perform Daily maintenance checks on harvester equipment
Aid the team with general tasks in the Hop shed

Skills and experience required for this role include:
Experience in operating Fendt Vario transmission tractors,
Competent in manoeuvring turning axle trailers,
Reasonable level of fitness (job requires getting in and out the tractor on to the trailer multiple times per trailer load) and prepared to work long days during the Harvest period.
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong communication skills, motivated, organised with great time management skills.
Able to use common sense and calm approach
Basic Mechanical Knowledge to be able to maintain equipment
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
